- Kevin Jenkins Review added: 2018.08.28★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Frinton GC, a very tough course in the wind, recent work has cut back the rough to speed up play and be fairer to the handicap golfer, but this heavily bunkered course will test players of all abilities.
The Par 3's are particularly challenging, as well as holes 4 through 7 alongside the sea wall. It's very flat so easy to walk.
Nice clubhouse, modern changing rooms and showers, great Pro-shop too. Although there were a few stalls with quality hand crafted Christmas gifts, but most were of lower quality than I anticipated for such an event. Also only a few stall holders were in traditional dress. Maybe I just caught it at an unfortunate time. Having said that there was a jovial and welcoming atmosphere.
